This is a BondTech LGX Steel Drive Upgrade Set. The gears are machined from hardened steel, making them the ideal replacement for the plastic machined drive and main dual gears on a Bondtech Large Gears eXtruder. Compatible with LGX, LGX Lite and LGX Lite Mirrored.

Ideal for applications where a plastic gear is not enough, such as for:

Thicker mounting plates,
Higher ambient temperatures,
Stronger stepper motors.

Tip: Keep the stepper motor cool when using materials with a low glass transition temperature (e.g. PLA or TPU). The current should not exceed 0.5 A.

Note: It is necessary to lubricate the drive gears with the lubricant provided! Otherwise, the hardened steel gears could wear out the motor gear.
