Let your hot end run at higher temperatures with this amplifier board, with higher accuracy and easy installation with a PT100 sensor.
If you want to experiment with printing crazy high-temperature materials, get more accurate temperature measurements, and want a much more robust temperature sensor, a PT100 is an ideal option. This amplifier enables a detection range of up to and above 400 ° C, the maximum safe operating temperature of an all-metal hot end.
With this chip, you can connect the PT100 temperature sensor to any analogue input pin of the controller board. It amplifies the signal from the PT100 to a voltage level that your printer controller can read easily and accurately. This card is derived from the circuit design of the Ultimainboard V2 controller card, but has improved filtering for robust and accurate temperature measurement. For this reason, you can simply select the ’20’ temperature sensor in the Marlin firmware to get the correct calibration values.
