The filament is made of sturdy nylon reinforced with a high percentage of glass fibres. It is perfect for precise and stable prints of objects that need to withstand high temperatures, stress and impact.
Nylforce Glass Fiber is a nylon filament with glass fibres. Before printing, make sure that your material is completely dry. If moisture is present, place in an oven at 85-95 ° C for 6 to 8 hours. Store in a dry place, preferably in a small closed container with a desiccant.
Hot-end, nozzle and fan
Since the filament needs temperatures between 250 ° C and 265 ° C, please make sure your hot-end is appropriate for printing nylon filaments. Because of the abrasion effect of the glass fibres, stainless steel hardened nozzles that are resistant to abrasive materials are strongly recommended. Fans can be deactivated.
Adhesion
The filament does not adhere well to PEI, BuildTak or similar surfaces. We recommend to use a heated glass bed (60-70 ° C) with an adhesion promoter.
