PET-G ESD was specially developed for printing components of electronic devices that are damaged by electrostatic discharge.
The material has high electrical charge dissipation properties that ensure the safety of integrated circuits and other components and minimise the risk of partial or permanent damage.
PET-G ESD is characterised by high strength and resistance to weak acids, alcohols, oils and petrol. No heated chamber or hardened nozzle is required for printing.
Areas of application for PET-G ESD
Electronics → Housings, connectors, hoods, covers, cases, products with LEDs,
Tools or tool parts → Tools for working with electronics, tools for making electronic components
Parts and transfer tools → machine components, equipment elements for employees and production facilities
Attention
- Due to the strong adhesion, it is not recommended to print directly on the surface of the build bed or glass as this can cause damage. The use of adhesive tape is recommended.
- In view of the carbon nanoparticle content, the recommended minimum nozzle diameter is 0.5 mm.
