Polyamide PA6 (nylon) is an extremely durable material. Nylon objects have high abrasion resistance and high-temperature resistance. Nylon is characterized by good insulating properties, chemical resistance to greases, oils and high mechanical strength. These features make it possible to print functional parts, including plain bearings, gears or guideways. For the best possible performance of the printed object, it is recommended to dry the material thoroughly before printing.

Packaging
The filament is wound up on a clean, transparent spool. Each spool contains information about the type of material, the diameter and the recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber. A user manual is also included in the packaging.
